We can get our swimmer fixes in 2009!

September 21, 2008 · 4 Comments

Weren’t you all worried you would not be able to see our favorite swimmer’s and their torsos for another four years (and a swimmer I know even said Eamon might not be there!)?

Well, we have something to get us through.

I guess this is old news (like… month old news) but NBC will be broadcasting the swimming world championships until the next summer Olympics. This is probably because NBC wants to milk Michael for all he’s worth. They obviously would not have picked this up without the Phelps.

Now we will get our swimming fixes without having to have multiple interuptions for gymnastics.

And for all of those airplane commercials with Michael Phelps…

This one I posted a little while ago on Perez. Highlight would be the torso.

Then we have this one. Phelps sings Don’t Stop Believin’ very strangely.

And then the prank one, with adorable smile.

I would also like to know why Ryan Lochte isn’t doing any talk shows.

Phelps actually looks kind of cute in this picture? Awkward angle, I know.

Phelps, you’re so lucky. You get to touch Lochte allll the time.

…man, I miss those days.

Oh and one more thing…

Bananaman is real!

and I know someone keeps searching “ryan lochte marijuana” on here. I don’t know if he does or not, so can’t help you there. We can only infer from interviews.

I hope Lochte gets some good screen time because we know Phelps is going to be having close up shots every 5 seconds. And Jonathan Horton will be there! YES! I bolded everyone I was really happy about. This really will be the best Oprah ever if all those people are there. But where is Lebron and Ricky Berens???

Beijing says goodbye.

August 25, 2008 · 1 Comment

Sad!

I absolutely loved this Olympics. And I decided to run through my favorite moments in no particular order-

1. Phelps touching the wall 1/100 of a second faster for his gold! I loved watching Mamma Phelps at the end of this one. She was too cute!!!

2. May and Walsh dominating the sand.

3. When Sasha Artemev captured the bronze on the pommel horse after two horrible routines. The American men winning a medal was a great under dog story with the Hamm twins gone. I was so happy for them. And how could you not love Jonathan Horton??

4. When Ryan Lochte won his individual gold. His dad was so happy!

5. Two words: Redeem team.

6. Shawn Johnson getting her gold, and seeing her parents reactions.

7. Nastia and Shawn going one, two.

8. Dara Torres winning a silver. And so close to that gold!

9. When Shelly Ann Fraser won her gold at the Bird’s Nest(I don’t know what event it was, but her smile was contagious)

10. When the American men owned the 4×200m freestyle relay. Phelps, Lochte, Vanderkaay, and Berens destroyed not only the comeptition, but the world record, as well, getting it under seven minutes.

But by far the most exciting moment ever…

11. “Go Jason, go Jason, go Jason, go Jason…” haha, again, I love Michael’s mom. It’s when Jason Lezak went into like… beast mode and BEAT THE FRENCH IN THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! Plus, those French were talking trash about the Americans. YES! That race was amazing. And then Michael Phelps turned into the Hulk when he realized they won.

Oh, and I guess I forgot about Phelps winning his 8th gold, but that was pretty much a given that it was a highlight. That was fun to watch. There were so many other moments I loved…and pretty much when anyone cried that they won, it broke my heart and I was really happy. And I going to miss saying Watercube and Bird’s Nest!

I wanted to add more diversity here, buttt I really liked the swimming.

Adding  more about closing ceremonies laterrrr! School tomorrow so I’m going to go relax.
