Guess who made Perez?

September 13, 2008 · 3 Comments

Ryan Lochte did! He got a post all for himself! Not even with the attention going to Eamon or Phelps, like last time.

ryan.jpg

So he wants to desing clothes and get out of swimming. Wait… WHAT? He does know that I won’t love him  if he isn’t an Olympic swimmer anymore, right? Does this mean no 2012???? No LONDON?!?! And since when has he been designing for Speedo? I am just so unaware. But all I know is, this just can’t happen because then I would have to completely obsess over Eamon Sullivan, and he lives in AUSTRALIA! Not Florida, where I live. Maybe that’s why he was with Nastia. They both are getting into fashion.

Whatever Lochte. That was both exciting and upsetting. …and I hope your line doesn’t involve marquee belts. That was over and done with when I was in 8th grade.

And is there some Sarah Palin nude scandal going on right now? Like 20 people got here by typing either Sarah Palin nude or Sarah Palin hair. Did a paparazzi get a vajayjay shot or something?

NO NASTIA!

September 11, 2008 · 4 Comments

Say it ain’t so!

The golden children Lochte and Liukin were at some fashion show together, so the question is what’s going on there? It better be nothing, Nastia! It better be nothing.

Though if this was true, I would say 1) Awkward couple!  2) I think Nastia looks really pretty there and 3)though I would hate her for all of eternity, I think Lochte would have made a good choice.

They are so totally doing it.

Why do his jackets always look so big?? And why do men go to fashion shows?

and thanks for the info, Kitty!

Oprah! You and your head!

September 8, 2008 · 10 Comments

This was the BEST OPRAH EVER!

I was planning to liveblog it, but I couldn’t take my eyes off for a second because I didn’t know who I would have missed. And surpringly, instead of Michael, I think it was Mamma Phelps who got the most air time.

So, Oprah must have said Chicago like 40 times before the athletes finallycame out, and guess who was first??? Ryan Lochte! Followed by Phelps. He looked SO DAMN CUTE I COULD HAVE DIED. That curly hair just gets me. It really does. Then the male swimmers were directly behind Oprah in interviews, buttt Ryan Lochte was DIRECTLY behind Oprah, and whenever she was on I was hoping she would permanently move her head. Just think… if he was one seat over I could have seen him for a good part of the show, but I did see him a good bit. And then during some credit card thing, I think they showed Debbie Phelps like… touching his head or something. I’m pretty sure it was him. At the time I was just looking up from my Vogue. It was cute, though. And Garrett Weber-Gale was a DOLL.

Then we saw Natalie Coughlin, too! She looks so sweet, I want to be best friends with her.  And Jason LEZAK! I love him, too. I wish he was my uncle. Pretty much I want to be related somehow to all Olympic swimmers, you know… except the bald kid who licks his goggles and that French slut. Oh and Dara Torres talked too She is so inspiring, but my mother like to ruin it by saying “Do you know how rich she is? Have you seen her house? She probably has a nanny, and a chef, and everyone to take care of everything for her so she can swim all day.” Thanks, ma. Watching it a second time, Ryan loked pretty damn confused when she was speaking.

Then there was Nastia and Shawn, and Kerri and Misty (Kerri is so tall!), and the basketball players, and the ADORABLE gymnasts. I actually just consider Jonathan and Justin adorable, but I like the other ones too. Just not as much. ADORABLEEEE. And OMG who saw that awkward cart wheel by a random track runner? That was so embarrassing.

And to top it all off my favorite American Idol ever DAVID COOK was there! Then all of the athletes got to go into the crowd where it looked as if Lochte was chewing gum. There was one more shot of Rye Rye and then the highlight of my month came to a close.

Oh Ryan, even if you chew gum on Oprah and are not the most eloquent speaker, I just want to let you know that I will miss you. So, so much. And that I will be watching your videos on youtube for the next four years, or until I find a new husband. But I know that one day we will serendipitously be in the same place… like Halloween Horror Nights or Daytona Beach, and I will say “hey! you’re Ryan Lochte!” after everone else forgets your name and YOU WILL fall madly in love with me. I’ll just turn 18, get myself a nose job and we will live happily ever after. It’s happening. Maybe not the nose job, but IT’S HAPPENING.

Don’t leave me!

P.S. I have decided that I want to be Rihanna ever since last nights VMAs. Or maybe Gwen Stefani. Or Pink. But mostly Rihanna.

Beijing says goodbye.

August 25, 2008 · 1 Comment

Sad!

I absolutely loved this Olympics. And I decided to run through my favorite moments in no particular order-

1. Phelps touching the wall 1/100 of a second faster for his gold! I loved watching Mamma Phelps at the end of this one. She was too cute!!!

2. May and Walsh dominating the sand.

3. When Sasha Artemev captured the bronze on the pommel horse after two horrible routines. The American men winning a medal was a great under dog story with the Hamm twins gone. I was so happy for them. And how could you not love Jonathan Horton??

4. When Ryan Lochte won his individual gold. His dad was so happy!

5. Two words: Redeem team.

6. Shawn Johnson getting her gold, and seeing her parents reactions.

7. Nastia and Shawn going one, two.

8. Dara Torres winning a silver. And so close to that gold!

9. When Shelly Ann Fraser won her gold at the Bird’s Nest(I don’t know what event it was, but her smile was contagious)

10. When the American men owned the 4×200m freestyle relay. Phelps, Lochte, Vanderkaay, and Berens destroyed not only the comeptition, but the world record, as well, getting it under seven minutes.

But by far the most exciting moment ever…

11. “Go Jason, go Jason, go Jason, go Jason…” haha, again, I love Michael’s mom. It’s when Jason Lezak went into like… beast mode and BEAT THE FRENCH IN THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! Plus, those French were talking trash about the Americans. YES! That race was amazing. And then Michael Phelps turned into the Hulk when he realized they won.

Oh, and I guess I forgot about Phelps winning his 8th gold, but that was pretty much a given that it was a highlight. That was fun to watch. There were so many other moments I loved…and pretty much when anyone cried that they won, it broke my heart and I was really happy. And I going to miss saying Watercube and Bird’s Nest!

I wanted to add more diversity here, buttt I really liked the swimming.

Adding  more about closing ceremonies laterrrr! School tomorrow so I’m going to go relax.
